WHO WE ARE
Friends of the Maricopa Library (FOTL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support and enhancement of our Library. We represent all members of our community and welcome everyone to join our group. FOTL helps to support the Library by raising funds, which support literacy programs, book purchases, and other important activities. We volunteer our time and talents at the Library, and throughout the community.
The mission of the FOTL is to develop resources for library services and programs, encourage enjoyment of reading, and to establish lifetime learning and community involvement.
Please check our calendar for all upcoming events.
FOTL proudly supports MLCC 2022 Summer Reading Program. Last year our Summer Reading Program recorded 428,881 logged minutes from participants, and hosted performances enjoyed by over 1,500 kids! The Maricopa Library & Cultural Center Summer Reading Registration is now open from May 30th through July 30th and is open to all ages. Visit maricopa.azsummerreading.org to register.
While FOTL book sale events are taking a summer break for family vacations, coffee hour at the Maricopa Senior Center and Book Nook Sales continue. Please keep an eye on our website’s “Calendar” webpage for event updates.
We feature Specialty Items, Bundles, and Series that are organized by genre on our Virtual Book Store page.
