GENERAL MEETINGS

Our general meetings are tentatively scheduled for: October 12 (Meet and Greet), November 14 (Election). Location TBA. Meeting information can also be found in our monthly newsletter (emailed to our members) and on our Facebook page. Our Annual Fall Book Sale is scheduled for October 22nd at the Maricopa library. Please keep an eye on our website calendar and newsletters for updates. 

WEEKLY EVENTS

You do not have to be a member to attend these events:

  • Join us every Monday morning at 8 AM to help sort books, or email us to suggest an alternate time when you are available. 
  • Join us every Tuesday from 1:30 to 3 PM for coffee at the Maricopa Senior Center. Please email Carol to be added to the notification list. 
  • Join us every Wednesday at 11:30 AM for lunch. The location changes weekly. Email Connie to be added to the notification list.

UPCOMING EVENTS

During the summer months we take a little break and get out of the Arizona heat to vacation with family and friends – we are volunteers after all! Weekly coffee and monthly luncheons will continue through the summer, but our excursions will be postponed till September.  Keep an eye on our calendar as summer events will be posted regularly.

AUGUST

August 20 – Rare & Collectibles Book Sale featuring leather-bound classics, complete sets of a series, and specialty items. From 10 AM to 2 PM at the Maricopa Library & Cultural Center, 18160 N Maya Angelou Dr, Maricopa 85138

  • Book Sales – Fall Book Sale, October 22nd. Spring Book Sale – March 25, 2023.
  • Mini Sales – November 19, February 18, 2023 and May 20.
  • General Meeting – October 10, Election November 14, Transition Meeting December 3 and 10. Annual Business Meeting January 9, 2023, Meet & Greet in April 10, 2023.
